"Checks and plaids make up most of my me-made wardrobe so it's no surprise I've got these two fabrics in my cart! I love the unique weave of our Picnic Floral Embroidered Cotton in Emerald and the pop colours of our Gingham Stonewashed Linen in Chicory.

They both have a really nice summer weight that I think I'll sew into a couple of simple DIY Daisy Rectangle dresses (my favourite pattern to hack!). 

I also love to sew with cotton poplin, it's just so easy to worth with and works for so many different projects. I've got my eye on our Garden Party Organic Cotton Poplin for a Helen's Closet Ashton Top with matching Friday Pattern Company Saguaro Set Pants."
